CORE VALUES
HELPING PEOPLE BECOME FULLY DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST.
The five core values of Thousand Hills Church are founded on the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-38)
BUILT TO BELONG
We believe that no person should ever stand alone. The church should be a place where every person is called to belong and find acceptance, fulfillment, and friendship. (Matthew 28:19)
WIRED TO WORSHIP
We believe worship is our highest aim. Worship involves passionately loving our creator with everything we have and all that we are. This includes giving generously of our time, energy, talents and resources. (Matthew 22:37)
GROUPS TO GROW
We believe followers of Jesus should be growing. Small groups offer a perfect opportunity for a person to commit to a lifestyle of consistent spiritual growth, accountability, discipleship and prayer. (Matthew 28:20)
SAVED TO SERVE
We believe that serving others is not optional. Jesus showed us by His example that believers are called to serve, not to be served. Serving the poor, widowed and underprivileged in our community is our God-given mandate. (Matthew 22:38)
MADE FOR MISSION
We believe that every person should share their story of faith. Sharing the message that Jesus saves is the good news of the gospel. This message must be spread everywhere, from our next door neighbor to the most remote regions of the world. (Matthew 28:19)
