Watch this quick message from our Lead Pastor!

Saying yes to Jesus is the best decision you will ever make!  It’s important to understand how your yes to accept salvation is the first step in a lifelong pursuit of Jesus.

What did you say yes to?

You acknowledged your need for a Savior to rescue you from your sin…we can’t save ourselves.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16 (NIV)

When you prayed for salvation, you were confessing your belief in the power of Jesus to rescue you from your sin.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)

Saying yes to God meant accepting being found by God at your worst, and through repentance, He exchanged your sin for the righteousness of Jesus. Salvation is the beginning of your relationship and brand new life with God.

There are a few things you can do to help grow your faith in Jesus.

Read the Bible

It’s the foundation of what we believe and the guidebook for our lives.
The YouVersion Bible app is a great place to start your Bible journey. Click the link below to begin a Devotional Reading Plan through YouVersion called "New Life in Christ".

Pray every day

God knows how we’re feeling, and He knows what we’re going through in this life. God is big enough to handle our frustrations, doubts, fears, and our disappointments. Don’t let fear keep you from being honest with God in your prayers…He can take it!

Get Connected

We were never meant to go through this life on our own. We need people to encourage us, sharpen us, and help keep us accountable. The church is not about a building, instead, it is about people. Followers of Jesus are a family and we are so much better when we are working together than when we are alone.

If you're interested in being baptized, church membership, finding community, or serving, then the next step for you will be to attend Connect Track.

Do you live somewhere far from Thousand Hills Church?

We know that some may find Christ through our online stream, but they will live in other cities or states. We highly encourage you to engage with an Assemblies of God church near you. You can find the nearest AG church to you by utilizing the national search engine we have provided below. We hope you will find a local church you can call home and grow in faith with.
