Ben De Boef

Lead Pastor

Pastor Ben and his family moved from Chicago to Texas in December of 2013 to become the new Lead Pastors of Thousand Hills. Ben is a graduate of North Central University and staff pastored for the past 20 years in Illinois and Pennsylvania.  Ben has a great love for the local church and missions. His passions also include sports, reading and spending time with the three beautiful women in his life, Janet, Taylor, and Kylie.

Janet De Boef

Connections Director

Janet met Pastor Ben while attending North Central University, and they have been married for 29 years. They have two beautiful daughters, Taylor & Kylie. They also have a fantastic son-in-law, David, who is married to Taylor. Janet oversees connections at the church, and her heart is to see first time guests find a place to belong at Thousand Hills. She loves to sing on the worship team and use her talents for the Lord! She also loves exploring Texas with her family and staying in flip-flops year-round thanks to the hot Texas weather.

Chris Medley

Executive Pastor

Pastor Chris grew up in Alabama and graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University.  Upon graduation in 2002, he moved to Corinth and began working part-time at Thousand Hills. Over the years, he has filled several different roles, including Youth Pastor and Connections & Discipleship Pastor. He likes to laugh and enjoys life, but his greatest desire is to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus. Chris loves to spend time with his wife, Allison, and their three beautiful children. Other interests include watching, playing, and coaching sports. Put a sweet tea in his hand, and he’s a happy man.

Allison Medley

Children's Pastor

Pastor Allison has attended Thousand Hills Church since its launch in 1999, serving kids and their families as they grow in their relationship with Christ. Allison is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Church Ministries Degree, specializing in Children.  She married the love of her life, Pastor Chris Medley, in the fall of 2005, and they have three incredible children, Foster, Landrie, and Lincoln. Allison has a great passion for kids to grasp the love that Christ has for them and to love and serve Him with all their hearts. Things she loves: cookies and milk, Mexican food, movie theater popcorn, flip flops, and sunshine. 

Joe Williamson

Youth Pastor

Joe Williamson grew up as a missionary kid and has lived in several different states, eventually coming to Texas. He has been attending Thousand Hills Church since 2006. Upon graduating from Lake Dallas High School in 2013, he attended and played college football at North Central College in Naperville, IL. After two years in the tundra, Joe moved back to Texas. He received his license to preach from Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, TX, and he currently serves as our WAKE: Youth Pastor. He likes serving, honoring, and worshiping God and has a heart for Youth.

Blayke Gipson

Middle School Director

Blayke is a Dallas native who moved to Denton for school in 2013. Shortly after, he met his wife, Glory, who introduced him to Thousands Hills Church. As he served and received discipleship, church community and seeing people grow in their faith became his greatest passion. As of 2024, he now dedicatedly leads and ministers to our Middle School students that call WAKE Youth home. Through discipleship & teaching, he prays to see a generation of young Believers that are on fire for God and living for Jesus with everything they have. Blayke enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, hanging with his friends and spending time with his wife and kids.

Tyler Brasher

Worship & Creative Arts Director

Tyler, originally born in California, moved to Texas in 1994. In 2013, he began serving as the Worship & Creative Arts Director. He has always had a passion for music, acting, recording, and all areas of the arts. Tyler has a heart for leading other people into God's presence through music. Combined with his many other talents, he helps introduce new and creative ways to reach our community with the Gospel. He loves spending time with his family, his middle name is Bear, and his favorite superhero is Spider-Man.

Jay Gonzalez

Technical & Young Adults Director

Jay was born and raised in the area and has attended Thousand Hills Church since 2006. He graduated from Full Sail University in 2019 with an Audio Engineering degree. He just recently moved back to Denton to work his dream job at his home church. He loves sports, video games and hanging out with friends. He has a heart for all ages and wants to see everyone grow into the best they can be.

Sharon Williamson

Seasons Preschool & Missions Director

Sharon moved to Corinth with her family in 2006. She has a heart for people and a desire to see people transformed through evangelism and discipleship.  Sharon has been the director of Seasons Mother's Day Out and Preschool since 2010 and oversees the church missions and outreach teams.  Sharon and her husband, John, have been full-time Assemblies of God, US Missionaries for the past 23 years.  Together with their children, Joseph, Benjamin, and Emmalee, they have a passion to reach our community for Christ. 

Jeremy Walter

Outreach & Discipleship Pastor

Pastor Jeremy grew up in Illinois where he graduated from the International College of Bible Theology. He began working as a pastor in an Assembly of God church in 1997. He has served in many different ministry positions over the years. Jeremy moved his family to Texas from Pennsylvania in October of 2020. He loves to learn new things and is passionate about teaching the word of God and helping people become better followers of Jesus. Jeremy and his beautiful wife Jena were married in 1999. She is his best friend and spending time together is his favorite thing to do. They have been blessed with three wonderful sons, Noah, Riley, and Logan. Jeremy loves ice cream, cashews, and also enjoys talking about how he needs to start working out soon. 

Chris Garland

Service Director

Chris Garland and his family have lived in the Lake Cities since 2004 and started attending Thousand Hills in 2006. He has served at the church in many capacities and formally became a member of the church staff in 2012. Chris currently leads the technical teams and oversees and coordinates the services and the volunteers on Sunday Mornings. Chris and his wife, Rachelle, were married in 2004, and they have three beautiful children, Ryleigh, Zane, and Gwendalynne, whom all love serving and being a part of Thousand Hills Church.
